Five Years of Healing: South Carolina Addiction Treatment Celebrates Milestone with Ribbon Cutting

November 2, 2026

A vital local healthcare facility dedicated to helping individuals break the cycle of substance use is marking half a decade of service in the Upstate.

South Carolina Addiction Treatment (SCAT) will celebrate its five-year anniversary with an open celebration and official ribbon cutting on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.

The gathering begins at 3:00 p.m. at the organization’s residential campus, located at 1187 Holland Road in Simpsonville, with the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 3:15 p.m.

Operating as a CARF-accredited and state-licensed treatment provider, SCAT offers detox and residential recovery programs designed to support patients through medical withdrawal management, individual and group therapy, and dual-diagnosis mental health care. Over the past five years, the facility’s clinical and support teams have worked to provide individuals and families from across the Golden Strip and the wider region with a structured, therapeutic environment centered on long-term recovery.

Community members, local leaders, chamber partners, and area health advocates are invited to attend the event to tour the grounds, meet the staff, and congratulate the team on reaching the milestone.

Organizers ask attendees to register online ahead of time to confirm attendance. Details and RSVP links can be found by scanning the event QR code or visiting scaddictiontreatment.com.
