A Taste of Tradition: Fountain Inn Museum’s 13th Annual Low Country Boil Set for Oct. 15

October 5, 2026

Autumn in the Golden Strip is in full swing, and one of downtown Fountain Inn’s most anticipated culinary traditions is returning to Commerce Park this month.

The Fountain Inn Museum will host its 13th Annual Low Country Boil on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Commerce Park (100 Depot St.). The signature community gathering brings neighbors together for an evening centered around coastal flavors, lively entertainment, and fundraising in support of local history preservation.

Event Highlights:

  • Event: 13th Annual Low Country Boil & America 250 Celebration

  • Date & Time: Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026 | 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

  • Location: Commerce Park, 100 Depot St., Fountain Inn, SC

  • Beneficiary: The Fountain Inn Museum

  • Features: Fresh Lowcountry boil, live and silent auctions, DJ entertainment, and door prizes

This year’s feast carries a special milestone theme as the museum incorporates the kickoff to America 250, commemorating the nation’s semiquincentennial with an added focus on Upstate heritage and civic pride.

In addition to generous platters of classic shrimp boil, attendees can bid on an extensive array of items donated by local merchants during both live and silent auctions. A live DJ will keep the energy high throughout the evening, alongside regular door prize drawings.

All proceeds directly benefit the Fountain Inn Museum, helping fund exhibits, archive conservation, and educational programming that preserves the rich railway, agricultural, and cultural history of southern Greenville and northern Laurens counties.

Tickets and additional event details can be obtained through the City of Fountain Inn or by contacting the Fountain Inn Museum.
