AAF of The Midlands Announces April Lunch Program: “The Creative Department's Dirty Little Secrets ”

April 1, 2008

COLUMBIA, SC – April 1, 2008 – Quit asking yourself “Can’t we all just get along,” and become a “creative whisperer.” AAF of The Midlands has announced the April Lunch Program, “The Creative Department’s Dirty Little Secrets,” will be Wednesday, April 9, 11:45 a.m. at The Summit Club in downtown Columbia.

The program will be presented by John January, executive creative director at Kansas City’s Sullivan Higdon & Sink, and Tug McTighe, a creative director at Callahan Creek in Lawrence, Kan. At the April Lunch Program, you’ll begin to understand the creative mind, and bridge the communication gap that often causes unnecessary discord with “creatives.” Whether you work with “creatives,” or happen to be one yourself, this lunch program will shed some light on how we can all get along.

January and McTighe are known for creating and hosting American Copywriter, one of the first and most popular advertising-themed podcasts. Collectively, their work has been featured in Communication Arts, The One Show, The National ADDYs, Archive, Print, Graphis and U.S. Ad Review.

Everyone is invited to attend. The lunch program is free for members and $25 for non-members. RSVPs are required by Monday April 6. For more information, or to reserve your spot at the AAF of the Midlands April Lunch Program, visit www.columbiaadclub.com.
