Atlanta attorney endows scholarship at Clemson

CLEMSON, SC – April 8, 2010 – Charles E. Hodges II, a 1992 graduate of Clemson University, has given $25,000 to the College of Business and Behavioral Science to establish The Hodges Family Scholarship Endowment for Business.

Hodges is an attorney with Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Martin law firm in Atlanta and specializes in civil and criminal federal tax law and complex tax planning. Following his graduation from Clemson, he earned a law degree from Mercer University and a Master of Law degree from the University of Florida.

“Support of scholarships is a perfect way to give back to the institution that is so important to me,” Hodges said. “I can’t think of a better time than now to give back, especially with the funding cuts to education. Lack of additional support could impact the opportunities Clemson can provide.”
