Bark in the Park at Lake Carolina

COLUMBIA, SC – May 28, 2009 – Lake Carolina is pleased to announce Bark in the Park, a festival for dogs, to help celebrate Lake Carolina’s newest upcoming amenity, a 1-acre dog park. The celebration will be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009. The annual event is sure to be bigger and better this year complete with splash stations, obstacle courses, Pupcasso, a doggie photo booth, dog vendors, doggie apparel and training tips and demonstrations from the Greater Columbia Obedience Club. 

The event is hosted by Lake Carolina Development and A Dog Eared Corner. All proceeds from Bark in the Park will benefit Project Pet, a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit animal rescue organization located in Columbia, S.C.

We are very proud to be the only new home community in Columbia, S.C. that has a dog park, said David Tuttle, President of Lake Carolina Development. We’re good listeners. We surveyed our Lake Carolinians and got some great feedback on their desires for future amenities.

Enter your dog to win in crowd pleasing best in show contests, including wackiest pet trick, best costume, loudest bark, highest jumper, longest ears and other categories.
