Barrelli Barber opens in Cigar Factory

May 16, 2017

Barrelli Barber opens in downtown Charleston’s Cigar Factory on June 15, 2017 offering “Proper Grooming for Gentlemen”. Owners Peter Evans and Laran D’Eustachio have worked together as owner (Evans) and Regional Director (D’Eustachio) at Stella Nova for over 20 years. They were inspired by their experience as parents of sons and their beauty service and retail expertise to provide service and products designed with men in mind.

“We know that men are looking for high quality services, but are looking for something different than the feminine salon/spa concept,” explains Laran, “The needs are very similar, but the aesthetic and the approach are unique.”

Barrelli Barber will offer Shaves, Haircuts, Waxing, Hair Color, Beard and Neck Trims, Facials, Shoe Shines and the most sought after men’s grooming products. The Cigar Factory provides the perfect setting for the no-frills, streamlined aesthetic of the brand. “The beauty industry has focused heavily on women and men have adapted to that style,” shares Peter, “Barrelli Barber delivers time-honored barbershop traditions, elevated to modern standards, in an understated, masculine environment.”

In addition to the barbershop, Barrelli Barber has launched a men’s grooming line available for sale at the barbershop, beauty retailers across the country and the Barrelli Barber website. The line includes Shampoos, Conditioners, and Styling and Grooming Products formulated with the influence of Peter and Laran’s years of experience. “We’ve worked in beauty retail for 2 decades, so we had a firm understanding about what we wanted and what we did not want,” says Peter. “We could not be more pleased with the outcome; we’ve even had women write us to let us know they’d started using their husband’s Barrelli products.”

A celebration to launch Barrelli Barber barbershop and grooming line, is planned for June 15 from 6 to 9 pm at the Cigar Factory. Co-hosted by Man About Town Magazine and The Manor at Lowcountry Plastic Surgery Center, the evening will include food and drinks, a cigar lounge, live music and a ribbon cutting. The event is open and free to the public. A portion of sales and night activities will benefit Windwood Farm and Family Services.
