Benjamin E. Brantley is Appointed President of the Board of Directors for the Central Carolina REALTORS® Association

COLUMBIA, SC – January 5, 2009 – The Central Carolina REALTORS® Association (CCRA) is pleased to announce Ben Brantley, SIOR has been named the 2009 President of the Board of Directors for the association. Brantley was sworn in at CCRA’s Quarterly General Membership Holiday Luncheon on Thursday, December 18, 2008.

Brantley specializes in Industrial sales and leasing and has been in the commercial real estate business for over ten years where he began his career with CB Richard Ellis in Columbia. Since 2000, he has closed over 175 transactions for a total sales volume of over $180 million, involving over 4 million square feet. Brantley became a partner at CBRE of Columbia in January of 2003 and has represented clients such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cingular, Ford Motor Credit and AT&T just to name a few. Brantley is the past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the REALTORS Commercial Alliance of the Greater Columbia Association of REALTORS, is a member of the Joint Legislative Committee, is on the Board of Director’s for EdVenture Children’s Museum and received the Greater Columbia Association of REALTORS 2003 Transaction of the Year for Cingular Wireless.
