Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia Board Announces New President and Chief Executive Officer

COLUMBIA, SC – The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Cristy Marshall as the mentoring organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer, effective January 5, 2015.

Prior to joining Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia, Cristy worked in the communications field, serving as the Advertising Manager for Lexington Medical Center. Cristy has also been an active volunteer in the Columbia community for the past ten years in areas of health, wellness and education and has served in the capacity of planning and fundraising for many events throughout her career. As a University of South Carolina graduate, Cristy looks forward to serving her local community in her new role with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia.

“I am so excited to be able to use my communications and fundraising experience with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia to serve our children and community. I look forward to making a positive impact on our Columbia children with our board, staff and community partners,” said Marshall.
