Bosch Community Fund invests $25,000 with The Greenville Tech Foundation to support advanced manufacturing education
May 14, 2025The Bosch Community Fund, driven by its commitment to fostering future generations of skilled professionals, has awarded a $25,000 grant to the Greenville Tech Foundation. This generous contribution will fuel the advancement of Greenville Technical College’s (GTC) Mechatronics and Bachelor’s in Applied Science in Advanced Manufacturing programs, equipping students with cutting-edge robotic technology and preparing them for high-demand careers in the ever-evolving manufacturing industry.
“The Greenville Tech Foundation shares our dedication to providing strategic initiatives to education that help close the gaps in opportunity and achievement for local students,” said Adolph Lanza, vice president, commercial at Bosch Rexroth. “We’re honored to collaborate with an organization that sets the standard for exceptional education in the Greenville area.”
This initiative will benefit over 500 students, affecting not just college students but high schoolers participating in the dual enrollment program as well. By providing access to advanced robotics, the programs empower students to develop in-demand skills and confidently step into high-paying, high-tech jobs upon graduation.

The grant will be used to purchase robots and accompanying software, training, and teaching materials. This helps students to gain practical experience directly relevant to current industry demands.
