Brent Parris joins Countybank as SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer

Countybank welcomed Brent Parris as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. Parris comes to Countybank with more than 20 years of experience directing human resources and manufacturing operations.

Parris most recently served as Plant Manager for Eaton Hydraulics Group where he was responsible for strategic and operational leadership of business goals and objectives. During his time at Eaton, Parris also served as Human Resources Manager, responsible for developing an HR strategic plan focused on employee relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance and compensation management, and employment law. Parris holds an MBA in Human Resource Management and a bachelor’s degree in operations and human resource management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is also a certified SHRM-SCP and SPHR.

Parris currently serves in a number of community-based leadership positions, including the Self-Regional Healthcare Board of Trustees, Greenwood Promise Board of Directors, and Greenwood Genetic Center Inclusion & Diversity Advisory Council.

As SVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, Parris is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy, specifically concerning talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.
