Carter Goble Lee Hired by the Strategic Investment Board of Northern Ireland

Columbia, SC – August 10, 2007 – Carter Goble Lee (CGL) has been awarded the following new projects:

Carter Goble Lee has been engaged by the Strategic Investment Board and the Northern Ireland Prison Service to conduct a series of strategic planning workshops on the future of the prison system in Northern Ireland.  With the new peace initiative and the seating of the new National Assembly, these workshops are intended to define strategies for a devolved Government in Northern Ireland.  CGL is to conduct the next set of workshops at the end of August, followed by meetings with the Minister of Justice.

Carter Goble Lee is serving as the space programming consultant for the State of Illinois Capitol Master Plan.   A master plan is required by the State to provide for planned, orderly growth of the state capitol complex within the context of future development in the City of Springfield. CGL has partnered with the Chicago based design firm, DeStefano and Partners for this project.

Carter Goble Lee is applying its nationally recognized planning services in its home state of South Carolina, working with the Darlington County Office of the County Administrator to conduct a space needs assessment for the County, Circuit, Family and Probate Courts. CGL is also working in Richland County (Columbia, SC) in association with McCreary Snow Architects, to conduct a government-wide space utilization study for all county-owned and leased spaces.

Carter Goble Lee continues to work on Wyoming’s State Capitol Master Plan.  The firm completed Phase I, to identify future space needs for the Legislative Branch earlier this year. CGL has been awarded the Phase II contract to identify space needs and utilization options for all divisions and departments located in the Capitol Complex.
