Charleston Metro Chamber announces Workforce Innovation Labs

August 3, 2022

The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce their new Workforce Innovation Labs program. The Labs offer a space for small businesses to work through their toughest challenges. They are also given tangible solutions for the recruitment, development and retention of their new and current talent.

“We are excited to offer this new program to our members,” said Celeste Granger, Director of Talent Initiatives for the Charleston Metro Chamber. “We value what our small businesses bring to the region and strive to ensure they have the resources they need to be successful. We have tailored these Labs around what we’ve heard from our members and will continue to work to ensure we are driving solutions for their toughest challenges.”

With 80% of Chamber members being small businesses, they understand that hiring the right people and retaining dedicated employees are critical to the success of a business. The goal of the Workforce Innovation Labs is to ensure that, even if a business doesn’t have a designated human resources department or professional, they are still given the tools to be successful.

The first Workforce Innovation Lab occurs September 12 and will focus on helping businesses ensure job descriptions accurately depict the position and attract the talent they are looking for. To learn more about this event, click here.
