Colliers International Expands Retail Portfolio by 808,000 SF

CHARLESTON, SC – January 25, 2012 – Colliers Internationalsignificantly expanded its shopping center leasing and managementportfolio in South Carolina since the beginning of the fourth quarter of2011, adding 808,000 square feet in new retail assignments.  Thisexpansion represents the addition of 13 shopping centers across thestate. The centers include:

·         Bluffton Commons, Bluffton, SC
·         Columbia Northeast Shopping Center, Columbia, SC  
·         Crossroads Shopping Center, Columbia, SC
·         High Point Shopping Center, Irmo, SC
·         Hilton Head Village, Hilton Head, SC
·         Leesburg Village, Columbia, SC
·         Platt Springs Center, West Columbia, SC
·         Rivers Crossing, North Charleston, SC
·         Santee Centre, Moncks Corner, SC
·         Sparkleberry Crossing, Columbia, SC
·         Sweetgrass Shopping Center, Mt. Pleasant, SC
·         Westland Square, Columbia, SC

Colliers International also added five new members to its RetailServices Group in 2011: John Orr, CCIM, joined Colliers focusing onlandlord representation; Meredith Millender was hired as a retailproperty manager; Victor “Buddy” John joined as a senior retailinvestment brokerage associate; Scott Rogers joined as an investmentbrokerage associate; and Liz Howell was hired to provide marketingsupport for the statewide Retail Services Group.
