Emergency physicians Thomas Hilliard, M.D. and Bjorn Miller, M.D. join Nason Medical Center

CHARLESTON, SC – October 11, 2012 – Dr. Thomas Hilliard and Dr. Bjorn Miller have joined Nason Medical Center as Emergency Medicine physicians, bringing its staff of board certified doctors to 10 in five locations across the Lowcountry.

Dr. Hilliard earned his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, and served his residency in Charleston at the Medical University of South Carolina. He was on the emergency staff of Summerville Medical Center for 13 years where he served as Medical Director of Emergency.

Dr. Miller was granted his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA and served a residency at MCP-Hahnemann University Hospitals in Philadelphia. Dr. Miller is a certified American Board Emergency Medicine diplomate and is also certified in Emergency Medicine Bedside Ultrasound. He is a member of the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
