Greenville Symphony to Perform Live

For the first time, the Greenville Symphony Orchestra will perform live during Fireworks at Unity Park presented by Clemson MBA on Thursday, July 2, adding a full orchestral score to Greenville’s signature Independence Day celebration. Traditionally set to recorded music, this year’s show will unfold in sync with the energy and emotion of a live orchestra.

The Symphony, now in its 79th year, will perform under the direction of Music Director Lee Mills, presenting a patriotic program designed to complement the fireworks display. Expected selections include classics such as Sousa’s “The Stars and Stripes Forever”, along with additional works chosen for the occasion.

The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. at Unity Park and will feature live entertainment, food and beverage vendors, and a fireworks finale.
