Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
July 2 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
In celebration of America’s 250th year of freedom, the Winyah Auditorium is proud to present “Here Today, Gone Tomorrow,” a powerful and moving 75-minute presentation featuring acclaimed cultural historian and performer Ron Daise.
The production shines a light on the Hamburg Massacre, a deeply significant yet relatively unknown piece of South Carolina history. Through compelling storytelling, the production explores the profound fragility of freedom and the enduring resilience of the human spirit.
While admission is entirely free, optional donations are welcomed in honor of America’s 250th milestone ($2.50, $25, or $250). All proceeds will directly benefit the Georgetown Middle Passage Port Marker Project, supporting local historical preservation and education.
How to Reserve: Seats can be reserved online by visiting the official website at www.thewinyah.org.
