The Georgetown Business Association is once again sponsoring FLAGS ON FRONT, a celebration of Flag Day 2026, with businesses on Front Street and on neighboring streets flying American flags in front of their businesses. Please come out to support our downtown merchants who will have a variety of sales and specials available all day.

In addition there will be a three-man color guard from the Trail Life group at First Baptist Church marching at noon up Front Street and along the Harbor Walk from The George Hotel to the Kaminski House. At the midway point by Marion Park, we will have the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of our National Anthem.

It is with regret that the Georgetown Business Association announces the  “Ukes by the Sea” concert has been cancelled due to predicted extreme temperatures. They hope to reschedule them for another event in the future.
