Fall is on the calendar at LushAcres Farm in Clinton.
The farm’s annual fall festival runs every Saturday in October, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. One $15 gate fee (free for kids 2 and under) covers the corn maze, corn cannons, wagon rides, barnyard animals, the giant slide, jump pad, mini-train, GaGa ball, face painting and more.
Live music every Saturday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with West End String Band, McKinney Gap, Matt Crisp and Cross Ties Bluegrass Band on the schedule. Add in the pumpkin patch, mums garden, farm market, food and a vendor village full of handmade goods, and it is an easy day trip for the whole family.
Proceeds support Thornwell’s work with children and families.
