An Unforgettable Weekend of Flavor, Music and Community

The highly anticipated Black Food Truck Festival returns this spring, bringing together delicious cuisine, live music, family-friendly activities, and cultural celebrations. Tickets are on sale now for the three-day festival, happening April 25-27, 2025, at the Exchange Park Fairgrounds in Ladson, S.C.

In honor of Black History Month, limited discounted early bird tickets are available throughout February.

A Celebration of Black Culture & Cuisine

For centuries, food has been a cornerstone of Black culture—preserving traditions, fostering community, and sharing stories of resilience and heritage. The Black Food Truck Festival honors this legacy by featuring over 40 food trucks, offering everything from Black American soul food to West African delicacies.

Beyond the food, the festival is dedicated to making a lasting economic and social impact, spotlighting and supporting Black-owned businesses. In 2024, the Black Food Truck Festival contributed $10.3 million to the local economy, driving tourism, creating jobs, and generating significant revenue for vendors, food trucks, and surrounding businesses.

Festival founder Marcus Hammond is proud of the national recognition the Black Food Truck Festival continues to receive and the positive impact it has on the Charleston community. “This event is bigger than food—it’s a full cultural experience,” Hammond says. “It’s a chance to connect, celebrate, and uplift entrepreneurs and artists while enjoying an unforgettable weekend of fun.”
