Fountain Inn craftsman Carolina Columns unveils custom interior buildout for Wingnutz

September 7, 2026

Downtown Fountain Inn’s commercial scene continues to evolve with homegrown collaboration, as local specialty fabrication and millwork firm Carolina Columns LLC revealed its latest custom buildout project inside Wingnutz.

Based right in Fountain Inn on Wall Street, Carolina Columns typically specializes in turn-key exterior millwork, architectural columns, brackets, and trellises. For the Wingnutz installation, however, the shop stepped away from standard architectural profiles to take on an artistic interior design concept.

The company shared a first look at the completed installation on social media, noting the team thoroughly enjoyed “getting outside of the box on this project” to deliver a bold focal point for the local gathering spot.

The project features a sleek, back-illuminated bar and lounge feature wall centered around the Wingnutz emblem. Clean architectural lines, dark textured paneling, and vibrant neon-style ambient LED lighting run along the ceiling and floor layout, adding modern edge and nightlife energy to the dining area.

The reveal quickly drew widespread enthusiasm across the local business community, generating immediate reactions from area patrons, fellow downtown merchants, and the Fountain Inn Chamber of Commerce.

Located at 201 Trade Street, Wingnutz has established itself as a downtown fixture for wings, burgers, and sports viewing. The collaboration highlights a rising trend across the Golden Strip, where local eateries and retail establishments are partnering directly with nearby craftsmen and fabricators to transform commercial interiors into unique, immersive spaces.

Residents interested in seeing the new installation can visit Wingnutz during regular restaurant hours, or explore more custom residential and commercial craftsmanship via Carolina Columns at carolinacolumns.co(opens in new tab) and on social media.
