Generations Group Homes to Host “Luncheon for Second Chances”

GREENVILLE, SC – Generations Group Homes will host its annual “Luncheonfor Second Chances” on May 16, 2012 at the TD Convention Center, located at One Exposition Avenue in Greenville, SC. The event will provideattendees with an opportunity to learn more about Generations’ programsand its mission to stop and prevent the cycle of sexual abuse amongadolescent boys.
“Our ‘Luncheon for Second Chances’ gives long-timefriends, new supporters and interested individuals a firsthand, currentlook at the impact our programs are making on our boys, within ourcommunity and toward our goal of “No More Victims,” noted KathleenReynolds, Founder and CEO of Generations. “As an event that our boysactively participate in, it’s truly a special time to reflect on pastsuccesses and get excited about future endeavors for Generations.”
As anationally accredited nonprofit organization that works with at-riskboys ages 10-19, Generations offers structured, specialized programsthat give its residents both a place to heal and the opportunity for asecond chance. To date, the nonprofit has graduated over 800 boys fromits programs with a 98% success rate of them never being incarceratedfor the same offense again.Guests at the luncheon are invited by a‘Table Captain’—a current Generations’ supporter, staff member orvolunteer.
