Golden Career Strategies President Stacey Bevill becomes South Carolina’s first Institute for Zen Leadership Practitioner

Stacey Bevill, President of Greenville-based Golden Career Strategies, has earned the professional designation of Zen Leadership Practitioner – the first in South Carolina to earn this leadership credential. In addition to becoming a Zen Leadership Practitioner, Bevill is one of a select few Focus Energy Balance Indicator (FEBI®) Certified Coaches in the United States, and currently the only one in South Carolina.
Dr. Ginny Whitelaw, founder of the Institute for Zen Leadership and one of the founders of the FEBI assessment, noted, “The benefits of getting certified in Zen Leadership extend well beyond the person who gets certified, as great leadership that cares for the people and the planet benefits everyone it touches. Zen Leadership Practitioner Certificate Program
The Zen Leadership Practitioner certificate program consists of four parts: (1) Getting to know the FEBI energy patterns of the nervous system and how to meet each leadership moment with the pattern that meets it best; (2) Reframing problems to opportunities, experiencing greater connection, and learning how to become what you’re trying to create in the world; (3) Learning to process fears and strengthen relationships; and (4) Applying all these practices to a close-to-home project and seeing results. Throughout the training, embodied practices from Zen keep expanding and deepening one’s sense of self and the resilience from which one leads.

About the FEBI Assessment
The Focus Energy Balance Indicator (FEBI) assessment is a validated psychometric instrument that measures four energy patterns in the nervous system that map to four personality factors, four ways of moving, and four essential modes of leadership. As a FEBI Certified Coach, Bevill works with leaders and teams to shift from unproductive coping habits and behaviors to sustainable improvements. A simple online assessment followed by coaching enables leaders to understand the patterns they typically use, how to access each of the four leadership patterns at any moment and target its use at the right time. Rather than merely identifying habitual behaviors, the coaching and workshops introduce simple and sustainable practices that enable participants to access all four patterns. FEBI training is essential for meeting goals, effective communication, mutual respect and understanding, motivation, and engagement.
