GoogleFest

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC – April 22, 2014 – Teachers, small business owners, non-profit employees, veterans and emergency preparedness officials from across South Carolina will arrive in the Lowcountry for the state’s first two-day GoogleFest on June 17th and 18th. The third annual conference is free and open to the public at Trident Technical College.

Whether it’s help to boost the bottom line at a small businesses, inspire innovative learning, or reach supporters in new ways – online tools are critical.  That’s why Googlers will be on hand to help show you tips and tricks that are already helping so many succeed.

When we launched GoogleFest here a few years ago, we weren’t sure how the community would react, said Eric Wages, Site Operations Manager, Google SC. But interest has grown every year, so we had to expand to two days this year just to keep up with demand.

Participants will learn to effectively utilize the cloud to enhance their productivity, no matter their line of work, by receiving first-hand training from Googler.  They’ll cover everything from Apps like Google Earth and Google Body, to word processing and document review via Google Docs and Drive. Googlers will demonstrate and answer questions– all in one place and at one time.
