Habitat for Humanity kicks off CEO Build 2013

GREENVILLE, SC – January 22, 2013 – Seventeen Greenville business leaders pledged their support to Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County’s first ever Framing the Future CEO Build on Tuesday.

“The CEO Build is a Habitat campaign where area business leaders come together to help build a house for a Greenville family,” said Monroe Free, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County.

Each member of the group will perform at least four hours of service work for a Habitat home being built in Habitat’s mixed-income development, Abigail Springs, in Taylors; attend the wall raising ceremony on February 22 and the dedication ceremony in June. The group was put together by Dick Wilkerson, former President and CEO of Michelin North America and CEO Build Chairman.

The Framing the Future CEO Build campaign kicked-off Tuesday, January 22 with a breakfast at the United Way of Greenville. Larry Gluth, Senior Vice President of Habitat for Humanity International, was the keynote speaker.
