About Youth Corps
Youth Corps is a nonprofit leadership program for 9th and 10th grade students in the Midlands. Through nine months/modules, consisting of 3-4 sessions per month, students gain hands-on experience led by top community leaders in their fields while developing confidence, a passion for service, and a vision of leadership.

Position Overview
The Program Director is the primary leader responsible for executing all aspects of the Youth Corps student experience—from recruitment and session coordination to alumni engagement and communications. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and a passion for youth development, community engagement, and event coordination.

Alumni Engagement
• Create and send monthly alumni newsletters.
• Develop and promote alumni internship and volunteer opportunities.
• Plan and support alumni events, including social gatherings, service trips, and engagement in sessions.

Special Programs & Events
• Coordinate annual events such as Leadership Weekend, L-Games, Special Events
• Manage volunteer involvement, including alumni and parents.
• Support communications, social media, and website updates.

Qualifications
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working with youth, volunteers, or in a nonprofit setting preferred.
• Experience with developing leadership curriculum preferred
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, WordPress and Constant Contact are a plus.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends for events and sessions.
