Kao Thai opening second location on Main Street

Kao Thai, a well-known restaurant located in the Vista area of downtown Columbia, is gearing up to cut the ribbon on its second location at 1307 Main Street.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, September 7th, at 4:30 PM, at the new location. This event also coincides with First Thursday on Main Street, promising an evening of community celebration. The restaurant will be offering complimentary bites, sips, happy hour specials all night and live music by Chris Reed from 5-8pm! And, from the restaurant’s Facebook page, heads up, there will be no seated dinner between 4:30-6:30.
Kao Thai serves modern Thai cuisine, offering dishes inspired by the streets of Bangkok. In addition to traditional Thai fare, the menu also boasts a creative blend of Pan-Asian and Asian-American fusion dishes.
