Local coffee shop, Lazy Daisy Coffee Co., opens in Forest Acres, SC

Lazy Daisy Coffee Co., a new locally-owned coffee shop in Forest Acres, announced its grand opening on Monday, July 21, in the heart of Cardinal Crossing. Located at 4615 Forest Drive, Suite 1, the café brings a fresh and community-focused concept to one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
Lazy Daisy Coffee Co. is designed to be a welcoming space where everyone, from young families to longtime neighbors, can gather over a thoughtfully brewed cup of coffee. Rooted in local pride, Lazy Daisy will highlight South Carolina-based businesses by sourcing baked goods from Ally & Eloise and Kudzu Bakery, while serving Methodical Coffee, roasted in Greenville, SC. The café’s menu will feature a variety of handcrafted espresso drinks, tea, refreshers, and its signature drink, “The Daisy,” made with locally-sourced honey. Guests can enjoy their beverages indoors or on the café’s pet-friendly patio.
In addition to its beverage offerings, Lazy Daisy will host a monthly children’s book reading on the first Friday of each month at 9:00 a.m. on the patio, led by Cola Baby Social Club.
Inspired by daisies — a flower that holds special meaning for the Tourville family — Lazy Daisy Coffee Co. is a place where comfort blooms and connections grow.
“We created Lazy Daisy Coffee Co. as a space where people can slow down, connect, and feel at home,” said Julia Tourville, who co-owns Lazy Daisy Coffee Co. with her husband, Travis. “From the local milk and honey in our drinks to the South Carolina-made pastries on our shelves, every detail was chosen with care to celebrate community and comfort. We’re proud to be part of Forest Acres and can’t wait to welcome our neighbors in.”
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the public on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. Attendees will hear from Forest Acres community leaders and owners Julia and Travis Tourville. Following the ceremony, doors will officially be open for business. The first fifty customers will receive 50% off a future drink purchase.
