May 28, 2024

The Greenville Northwestern Mutual office announced Mark Clary, CFP®, of McBee Avenue Wealth Advisors, has been named a 2024 Best-In-State Wealth Advisor by Forbes for three consecutive years. The prestigious list – comprised of high-performing financial services professionals – is based on a variety of factors including revenue produced, assets under management, compliance records and industry experience.

Clary, a graduate of Furman University, started his career in the Greenville Northwestern Mutual office in 1994. In 2018, he formed McBee Avenue Wealth Advisors with founding partner Thomas Willcox, later adding Jay Hatten and Rachel Haan as partners along with a staff of 10. Operating as a Northwestern Mutual Private Client Group, McBee Avenue Wealth Advisors helps clients navigate their complex and unique financial planning decisions at the highest professional level.

“It’s wonderful to see Mark and his team recognized for consistently bringing financial clarity and sharing opportunities and resources to help their clients have the freedom to pursue their passions, support their family and community, and leave an impactful legacy,” said John Tripoli, managing director of Northwestern Mutual Greenville/Spartanburg.

Best-In-State Wealth Advisor honorees are nominated by their firms, and each advisor is thoroughly vetted, interviewed, and assigned a ranking by SHOOK Research. Forbes receives more than 30,000 applicants for this annual ranking, and only a small percentage are named among the best wealth advisors in their state.
