Mayor Steve Benjamin presents Key to the City to CEO & President of City Center Partnership – Matt Kennell

Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin presented the Key to the City to Matt Kennell, CEO & President of City Center Partnership at Columbia Rotary Club’s recent meeting.

“Under Matt’s leadership for 20 years, City Center Partnership has been key in attracting nearly one billion dollars in development downtown,” said Mayor Steve Benjamin. “His dedication to the Main Street District and the hard work of the men and women in the yellow shirts are a big reason for this tremendous growth. I am honored to present Matt with the key to the city.”

“Being presented the key to the city is a testament to Matt’s strong leadership skills and natural ability to build high-performing teams,” said Sharon Bryant, Regional Executive Vice President of First Citizens Bank and Chair of City Center Partnership. “I along with all of the CCP board members want to congratulate Matt on receiving this honor.”
