Online education begins at Ben Lippen School this fall

July 23, 2021

The Crest Online (TCO), a new learning alternative from Ben Lippen School, will begin offering ninth-grade courses this fall.

The ninth-grade course launch is just step one in the multi-year development of the online high school which will be accessible around the globe, offering courses taught from a biblical worldview. Future plans include adding grade levels each year to provide the full high school course offerings, including college dual enrollment opportunities through Columbia International University, Ben Lippen’s parent organization.

Headmaster Tony Fajardo says the TCO goal is to “educate and graduate students who are equipped to represent Jesus through personal knowledge of God and His truth.”

“With the expansion of technology and digital education, both the opportunities and benefits for online Christian education are endless,” said Dr. Ben Porter, executive director of The Crest Online. “Flexible education from a biblical worldview is part of the intentional design of TCO making it possible for students and families around the globe to partner with Ben Lippen.”

The intentional discipleship of students is also a key component to the TCO experience. Devotions, biblically-integrated curriculum, and opportunities to connect with the Ben Lippen discipleship team assists in developing personal relationships with individuals, pointing them closer to God.

“Our heartbeat at The Crest Online is that students would know Jesus, grow in Jesus, and extend His love to a world that desperately needs it,” said Discipleship Director Chad Burnett.
