PTG Implements SharePoint Server to Improve Project Collaboration for PWC Sales

GREENVILLE, SC – December 10, 2008 – PTG, a Microsoft Certified Partner and VMware Enterprise Partner recently implemented SharePoint Server to unite the virtual PWC sales team. Through an initial assessment of PWC’s situation to determine business needs and goals, PTG recommended Microsoft SharePoint Server as the solution platform to unify the dispersed sales associates. PTG led the project by setting up SharePoint in a web-based, fully secure environment enabling PWC’s team access to documentation from anywhere at any time. As part of the implementation, PTG trained PWC personnel on how SharePoint was set-up and organized for their project management use to collaborate and share information with one another. The system is also structured where clients have secure access to view project schedules and progress.
