Boeing employees can stay on site to get care

CHARLESTON, SCApril 3, 2011 – Employees at Boeing South Carolina needing medical attention can now stay on Boeing property to get help by visiting the on-site clinic operated by Roper St. Francis Healthcare (RSFH). RSFH became the on-site medical provider at the Boeing South Carolina campus in late 2011 and has signed an agreement to continue the service through 2016.

Boeing South Carolina with its large workforce of highly skilled employees contributes greatly to the economic welfare of the Lowcountry and to the state of South Carolina.  RSFH staffs Boeing South Carolina’s on-site, 2,300 square foot medical clinic with a physician, nurse practitioner, nurses, and medical assistant support. Physician leadership and supervision of the clinic is provided by Barry Weissglass, MD, MPH. He has been on the RSFH medical staff for 25 years. Dr. Weissglass is board certified in Occupational Medicine and Family Medicine, and has more than 20 years experience in occupational medicine services.
