Save the Date: Rocky Point Patriot Run set for November 14th

Mark your calendars! VFW Georgetown Memorial Post 6444, Winyah Rivers Alliance, and Georgetown County Parks & Recreation are teaming up to host the Rocky Point Patriot Run on Saturday, November 14th. Held under the theme “Run for the Veterans and Our Rivers!”, the event aims to honor local veterans while supporting the conservation of Georgetown County’s scenic waterways.
The event features races for all ages and fitness levels: 
- 10K Race: Starts at 9:00 AM
- 5K Race: Starts at 9:30 AM
- Kids Fun Run: Starts at 10:00 AM
The course will begin and end at the Choppee Recreation Center (8259 Choppee Road, Georgetown, SC) on the Black River.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for local businesses and community organizations looking to support both causes, ranging from the $250 Stream Sponsor level up to the $2,000 Watershed Sponsor level. Proceeds benefit the VFW Georgetown Memorial Post 6444 and the Winyah River Alliance.
