Simpsonville Police Department invites community to Heritage Park for 2026 National Night Out

The Simpsonville Police Department will host its annual National Night Out celebration at Heritage Park on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, inviting residents and families across the Golden Strip to come together for an evening dedicated to community partnership, public safety, and family fun.
The free, family-friendly event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Park, located at 861 SE Main St. in Simpsonville.
Held nationwide under the theme “Building Stronger Communities Together,” National Night Out is designed to strengthen relationships between local neighbors, public servants, and first responders in a positive, relaxed setting.
Hands-on equipment, games, and community resources
This year’s event features a wide array of activities, displays, and demonstrations for all ages:

Meet Your First Responders: An opportunity to chat directly with local police officers, firefighters, and city personnel.

Emergency Vehicle & Fleet Displays: Kids and adults can get an up-close look at emergency response vehicles, police cruisers, and specialty apparatus.

Public Works Equipment Showcase: City public works teams will showcase heavy equipment, giving families an interactive “touch-a-truck” experience.

Community Resource Booths: Local organizations, community service providers, and neighborhood groups will share resources, program details, and safety tips.

Kids’ Activities & Games: The park grounds will host interactive games, family activities, and giveaways throughout the evening.
National Night Out serves as a cornerstone initiative for the Simpsonville Police Department, spotlighting the department’s focus on proactive neighborhood policing and crime prevention through genuine community trust.
