Episodes of the new series –“Converge Autism Family Enrichment”—are available now

Springbrook Autism Behavioral Health, renowned autism residential program and host of the annual national Converge Autism Summit, recently launched a new monthly online webinar series to help bridge the gap between treatment and the transition back into the home environment. The new series, called “Converge Autism Family Enrichment” (or CAFÉ), will consist of free online educational videos from Springbrook’s experts across a variety of disciplines, such as ABA therapy, family counseling, nutrition, occupational therapy, recreational therapy and more. The CAFÉ series is available at https://convergeautism.com/ under the “Resources” menu.

Mike Rowley, Springbrook’s CEO, stated: “We are thrilled to launch this new, free educational series so we can deliver directly to ASD families the same high-quality content that is part of our annual national Converge Autism Summit. Now, from the comfort and convenience of their homes, these families will have access to experts in the field of autism, year-round.” Rowley continued, “The goal of each episode of ‘Converge Autism Family Enrichment’ is to give caregivers and healthcare practitioners practical information they can use to provide the best level of care for their children and patients with autism.”

New episodes of Springbrook’s CAFÉ webinar series will be posted online the second Saturday of each month. The videos will cover topics relevant to families affected by autism spectrum disorder. Specifically, the series aims to address topics that will help families navigate the transition from residential autism treatment back to the home environment. Each video will be about 30 to 45 minutes long. Viewers will have the opportunity to email questions to the experts after each video. Emails can be sent to [email protected].
