The Blake at Woodcreek Farms senior living community breaks ground in Greater Columbia

A modern senior living experience is making its way to the Columbia area, offering a new tradition in care. The Blake at Woodcreek Farms will offer exciting opportunities to the area’s seniors and their families. Construction is underway and The Blake at Woodcreek Farms is scheduled to open in early 2017.

The assisted living options include both two-bedroom and one-bedroom suites. The memory support facility focusing on Alzheimer’s and dementia care will feature both studio and one-bedroom suites.
“We selected the Columbia market for several reasons,” says Harrison Young of Cardinal Ventures, the architect and developer of The Blake at Woodcreek Farms. “Columbia was selected as one of America’s Best Places to Retire by Where to Retire: America’s Best and Most Affordable Places, and being in the capital city has many advantages. In the last 15 years, Columbia has experienced an influx of investment, spurring significant development. Columbia is a rapidly growing market especially within the senior (65+) population, and we feel there are currently no senior living options like what will be offered by The Blake.”
Blake Management Group (BMG) is a privately owned senior living management company which operates all Blake communities with the goal to ensure residents receive the best care in every market they serve.
