United Community Mortgage Services strengthens team with Jason Hultgren

United Community Bank has announced the addition of industry veteran Jason Hultgren to its growing mortgage team. In his role as Senior Vice President/Director of Mortgage Sales, Hultgren will utilize his extensive background to lead all UCMS Sales Managers and the sales recruiting efforts across the bank’s four-state footprint, capitalizing on growth opportunities for the mortgage sales teams to increase market share.

Hultgren has more than two decades of professional and private banking experience, specifically in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining United Community Bank, he served as Senior Vice President/Retail Mortgage Production Manager for State Bank and Trust Company in Atlanta. Hultgren has served in leadership roles at a variety of financial institutions and has been based in the Southeast since 1995. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Government and International Studies from the University of South Carolina.

Hultgren is a 20-year resident of Atlanta. He serves on the Residential Loan Production Committee for the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and is the District 2 Governor for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia. Hultgren is also a member of the Atlanta Mortgage Bankers Association where he is a former President’s Award Winner, Association Director and multi-year winner of Production Awards. In the community, Hultgren is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Buckhead and his local church, the Cathedral of St. Philip.
