Venue management and tourism expert Matt Hollander chosen to lead Greenville Convention Center as GM
November 8, 2023Greenville Convention Center, managed by OVG360, has hired Matt Hollander as its general manager. With more than 30 years of venue management leadership, Hollander will contribute to strengthening the overall fabric of Greenville’s tourism industry for meetings and events through his role leading one of the Southeast’s largest convention centers.
As Greenville Convention Center’s general manager, Hollander is responsible for leading the overall management, promotion and operations of the facility and for representing OVG360 throughout Greenville’s tourism industry to help promote Greenville and the Upstate as an ideal location for meetings, events and conventions.

Prior to joining the OVG360 team at Greenville Convention Center, Hollander served as the senior director of campus operations for Georgia World Congress Center Authority in Atlanta, GA. Before that, Hollander served as the general manager for Oncenter and St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheatre in Syracuse, NY, Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, FL, and the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA. Hollander earned a B.A. in Communications and a Master of Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. He also earned the Certified Venue Executive certification from the International Association of Venue Managers, the global industry association for public assembly venues.
