“Have Yourself a Certified SC Christmas” with Great Holiday Recipes using Certified SC Grown Produce and Products

COLUMBIA, SC – December 3, 2012 – Start a new tradition thisChristmas by adding a delicious new dish to your holiday table or party,featuring great tasting Certified South Carolina Grown produce andproducts. The South Carolina Department of Agriculture (SCDA) isreleasing one holiday recipe a day between December 3 -7.  

One ofthe featured recipes is made with Sallie’s Greatest Jams from SouthCarolina Specialty Foods Association (SCSFA) member, Sallie Porth.  Youmay have seen Sallie’s Greatest on Oprah’s Favorite Things List 2012.  

Someof the Certified SC Christmas recipes include Sallie’s Greatest ThickCut Pork Chop with Blackberry Spice + Sage Red Wine Sauce and ChristmasCollard Dip.
