FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
100 Women Who Care Midlands SC Donates over $7,000 to Autism Society
100 Women Who Care Midlands SC recently elected to support the Autism Society of SC with a donation of $7,350.00 and was pleased to present their donation to Jim Merklinger, Executive Director of the Autism Society. The mission of the Autism Society is to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully. They equip those affected by Autism with knowledge and support to maximize their quality of life.
With over 100 members, 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC formed a chapter in the Midlands at the beginning of 2018 and continues to grow their membership. 100 Women Who Care Midlands SC meets once quarterly and gives all donated monies to local non-profits in the Midlands of SC.
Members commit to giving, each quarter, one hour of their time to learn about local non-profits that are nominated by active members. Each member then agrees to support, financially, the local non-profit selected among those nominated and selected. The combined giving of each member’s contribution makes a powerful impact locally. To date, 100 Women Midlands has donated over $314,000.00 to 31 different non-profits in the Midlands.
100 Women Who Care Midlands SC invites women in the Midlands to become 1 of 100.
