171-Acre Tract Fronting I-77 in Blythewood, S.C. Sold to Google Subsidiary

COLUMBIA, SC – October 18, 2007 – The Columbia-S.C.-based commercial real estate firm of NAI Avant is pleased to announce that Tom Milliken, a member of the firm’s Brokerage Services Group, recently represented the seller, Firetower Associates, in its sale of a 171-acre industrial tract fronting I-77 at Firetower Road in Blythewood, S.C.  The site was purchased by Arum Composites, LLC for $6.6 million. Arum Composites, a subsidiary of the internet corporation, Google, also purchased an additional 280 contiguous acres, with potential plans to build an internet server farm on the entire 451-acre site.
