2009 World Beer Festival will Donate Proceeds to The River Alliance and Columbia Opportunity Resource

Tickets Now on Sale and Volunteers Needed  

COLUMBIA, SC – December 8, 2008 – All About Beer Magazine and Green’s Discount Beverages are pleased to announce that they have chosen charity partners for the upcoming World Beer Festival-Columbia.  A portion of the proceeds from the festival will go to the River Alliance and Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR). Tickets are now on sale for the January 24 festival at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.

The festival offers two four-hour sessions. The first session will be from noon to 4 p.m., and the second session will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Standard admission to a single session is $40, which includes beer samples, music by local bands, educational sessions by industry experts, and a festival tasting glass.
