COLUMBIA, SC – The MGC Long Run raised $25,000 for USO South Carolina, a nonprofit organization that lifts the spirits of troops and their families. The donation is a result of the 2015 MGC Long Run 15k, 5k and Kids’ Fun Run that took place on Feb. 7.
“We are honored to make this contribution to USO South Carolina. Our troops make sacrifices to protect us every single day, and we are humbled to be able to give back to them through the USO,” said Rusty Goudelock, one of MGC’s founding members. “The USO works hard to serve our troops and their families both at home and overseas. We are grateful for what the USO does and proud to support them.”

“USO South Carolina thanks MGC partners, associates, sponsors, volunteers and participants for making Every Moment Count for the troops and their families we serve. Your donation will go a long way in creating moments and memories that last a lifetime,” said Joanie Thresher, Director of USO South Carolina.
