2020 UI summer foreign language classes: taught online or in-house

June 16, 2020

Language classes are open for registration at Upstate International. Here are the 14 opportunities for language learning this summer:  American Sign Language, Chinese, Croatian, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.   Impress your family, friends and colleagues. Enhance your resume, expand your employment opportunities and deepen your travel experiences.

Whether you want to learn a language for work, play, travel, or simply to stimulate your brain, Upstate International has a class for you.  Classes are conducted in an informal and relaxed atmosphere and are limited to no more than 10 people. Every class is taught by a native speaker dedicated to helping each student succeed.

Classes meet either once or twice a week, beginning the week of June 22nd and ending by July 31st. Regular classes meet once a week for 80 minutes and cost $70 for the entire 8-hour semester. Intensive classes meet twice a week for 120 minutes each class and cost $265 for the 24-hour intensive semester.  Annual membership is $50 per person or $75 for a family and is required for every student. Instructors teach to the interests of the students, and fun is part of the curriculum. Classes are held at Upstate International, 9 S. Memminger Street, Greenville, or online. Location is specified for each class in the  Summer Class Schedule and Registration.
