Register today for Foreign Language classes at Upstate International. There are 12 languages to choose from this Fall and 35 classes: American Sign Language, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese. There’s a class for every kind of student, beginner to advanced and everything in between. Experience diverse cultures, make connections, improve your resume, and discover the world without ever leaving the upstate! Classes begin the week of August 31 and end December 11.

This fall Upstate International is offering a hybrid schedule with some classes being taught in person and many others being taught online. Fall regular classes are $130, meeting once a week for 12 weeks; each class is 75 minutes and will be conducted at the UI office or online. Fall intensive classes are $320, meeting twice a week for 10 weeks; each class is 90 minutes and will be conducted at the UI office or online. Students must be members of Upstate International.

Take advantage of 15 hours of language learning this semester at less than $9.00 per hour. Upstate International, a nonprofit, strives to keep the cost low so as to allow as many upstate residents as possible the opportunity to learn a new language or brush up on one they used to know.  Class sizes are small, usually only 3 to 10 students, to enhance the learning experience and every class is taught by native speakers eager to share their language and culture and dedicated to helping each student succeed.
