29th Season of the Moveable Feast brings authors and dining together in Pawleys Island
September 8, 2026The Moveable Feast, a weekly series connecting community members with regional authors, artists, musicians, and historians, has announced its luncheon schedule through November 2026.
Now in its 29th year, the initiative was founded and continues to be managed by Linda Ketron, recipient of the 2025 Frances Mims-Paul Talmadge Literary Advocacy Award from the South Carolina Academy of Authors.
Held weekly on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., each event features a presentation preceding a specially prepared meal at a local eatery. Admission is mostly $40 through 2026.
Attendees are assigned table seating, accommodating individuals, couples, and groups. Menus feature a standard vegetarian option, with additional accommodations for food allergies available upon advance request.

Sept. 30: Donna Lynn Lito (Maggie’s Rise) at Wahoo’s Fish House.
