2nd Sunday on King Street January 10

On January 10, 2nd Sunday on King Street celebrates the New Year with alfresco dining, savvy shopping opportunities and free 2-hour parking vouchers courtesy of the City of Charleston.

King Street is closed to vehicular traffic from Queen Street to Calhoun from 1:00 – 5:00 PM, however 2nd Sunday is celebrated all over the downtown Charleston Peninsula.

This month, Worthwhile, Candlefish, Tina Stephens, Cynthia Rowley, Finicky Filly and other retail stores will offer discounts starting at 30% and some up to 70% off many products.

Lowcountry Olive Oil launches new Texas Grown Rattlesnake Oil at their King/Society Street kiosk and Meeting Street tasting store.

The College of Charleston will hold a grand opening event at their new kosher, vegan/vegetarian dining hall, Marty’s Place, from 1:30-3:30 PM at 96 Wentworth Street. The event is open to the public and will feature free samples and Marty’s Place giveaways.
