5K Run/Walk Raises Funds for Laurens County Safe Home

The annual 5K run/walk to support the Laurens County Safe Home and raise awareness for domestic violence took place on Saturday.

The event was well attended and raised much needed funds for the shelter. Hayden Stinson took first place for the men and Danielle Hernandez took first place for the women. The event raised more than $1,500 and an additional $800 donated from the Cruisers Car Club.
