5th Street Group announces Alexa Anderson as Vice President of Sales

March 2, 2021

The 5th Street Group is pleased to announce Alexa Anderson as Vice President of Sales. Promoted from within 5th Street Group, Anderson previously worked as the sales manager in Charlotte and will now oversee sales operations for all restaurants and locations, including Charlotte, Charleston and Nashville.

“Over the years, Alexa has extensively built our Charlotte clientele and successfully managed her sales team there,” says Patrick Whalen, CEO. “Her warm, outgoing and driven nature has made her a favorite among patrons, and she understands that every guest and event is different, going above and beyond to provide unforgettable experiences.”

Anderson has been with 5th Street Group since 2013, starting as a server for 5Church Charlotte and later hired as a sales coordinator for the restaurant. She then worked her way up to sales manager of both 5Church Charlotte and Sophia’s Lounge. Under her leadership, the Charlotte sales program grew from $250,000 in 2013 to $1.2 million in 2019. Anderson has managed a variety of private, high-profile events while in Charlotte, including charity events for Kyle and Samantha Busch and a Klutch Sports NBA All-Star dinner party with LeBron James, Kendall Jenner, Rich Paul and Anthony Davis in attendance.

As vice president, Anderson will navigate different sales markets depending on location, targeting corporate, leisure and wedding industries and tailoring services based on new group trends, including smaller, more luxury events. An expert in developing interpersonal relationships and networking, Anderson will personally train sales coordinators in each location.
