60+ local businesses to be featured at Greater Lexington Chamber Business Lexpo

June 7, 2016

On August 4, The Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center will host more than 60 local businesses at the 2016 Business Lexpo at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Lexington from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Free and opened to the public, this trade show was designed to help small to medium-sized businesses throughout the Midlands connect with one another, grow their businesses and renew existing business relationships. Lunch will be provided.

Otis Rawl, President and CEO, sees the event’s new location bringing more attention to Lexington’s growing business community and Main Street development. “It’s fitting to have an event that encourages business prosperity and community involvement in the heart of Lexington,” said Rawl. “Anyone who attends the expo will leave with stronger business connections, a vision of future opportunities that developments like the amphitheater will bring and a better understanding of why so many are starting their businesses in Lexington.”

Last year, more than 325 residents, business owners and others came to connect with over 50 businesses displaying their products and services.

Participating businesses will enjoy an hour of exclusive networking prior to doors opening to the public. To apply for a vendor booth, complete and return the vendor application to Sondra Gettys at [email protected]. Vendor applications are due by Friday, July 22.

The 2016 Business Lexpo is presented by Floor Boys and sponsored by Lexington Medical Center, Palmetto Health, BB&T, Comporium, AllSouth Federal Credit Union, Thompson Funeral Home, Columbia Living Magazine, Lexington Life Magazine and Columbia Business Monthly.
